Our new products are designed with a focus on 3 key elements: professionalism, elegance, and comfort. At the same time, we also consider current fashion trends. Cadenza’s workwear is designed with a thoughtful approach, allowing for the different items of the uniform to be combined with each other. We use natural, synthetic, and blended materials for our garments.
We place great importance on the meticulous production process and rigorous control of materials and final products. All aspects of the production cycle are subject to constant supervision in order to guarantee the highest quality standards. Our quality control procedures are designed to ensure that the yarn used and the process of weaving itself meet the highest standards. Our quality checks focus on the quality of strength, shrinkage, colour fastness and whiteness.
All Cadenza materials are subject to the standard treatments of sanforisation and mercerisation, provided that the materials in question are suitable for such treatments. Sanforisation is a mechanical process that achieves maximum reduction of shrinkage during washing. Mercerised products have a higher tensile strength, a shinier surface, greater affinity for dyes and are more pleasant to the touch.
The use of these textile treatments ensures the highest possible improvement in the performance of the final products. Products that have undergone sanforisation and mercerisation shrink minimally, maintaining their shape and size.

Natural Materials
Most of our Cadenza workwear is 100% cotton. The weave of the fabric varies from product to product, resulting in differences in the overall appearance and properties of the material and the finished product. The input material is always 100% medium staple or combed cotton.

100% COTTON – straight stitching
Surgical wear is usually made from high-quality cotton with a weight of 140 GSM and a plain weave, which is the most practical and basic type of weave – the surface is smooth, the front and back sides are almost identical in appearance.
Tops and dresses are produced with a fabric weight of 185 GSM, a 2/1 twill weave, creating a set of fine diagonal parallel lines.
Trousers and gowns are made with a weight of 220 GSM, a 3/1 twill weave.
Main properties of 100% cotton – straight stitching:
– smooth to the touch
– inelasticity
– maximum shrinkage of 2 cm in width and length

– boil washability at 95°C
100% COTTON – knitted fabric
T-shirts with a smooth surface have a fabric weight of 165 GSM and a single jersey weave – which means that the face side stitches are visible only on the front and the back side stitches visible only on the back.
T-shirts that are a bit “coarser” to the touch are made from a fabric with a weight of 170 GSM and textured patterns known as piqué weave – i.e. imitation of hand-stitching known from quilts.
Sweatshirts and vests are made of a laid-in fabric with a weight of 240 GSM, which means that they have a lower tensile strength; the front side is smooth to the touch, while the reverse side has a coarse or combed surface.

100% COTTON – slub jersey
T-shirts and dresses with a smooth surface but a fine texture made of slub jersey with a fabric weight of 160 GSM. This material is typical in its appearance as the individual thicker fibres create a more distinctive structure in the knitted fabric. This gives the fabric an interesting annealing effect.

– washability at 40°C
100% LINEN
Our exclusive Cadenza workwear collection is made of 100% linen. The production of yarn from flax fibres requires a lengthy and demanding preparation process, called heckling. Once the preparation process is complete and the elementary flax fibres are obtained, only about 10% of these fibres can be used in the final production of flax yarn. This is the reason why this material is fairly expensive. The linen collection has a weight of 175 GSM, with a plain weave – the front and back sides have the same, typical „linen“ look.

Synthetic Materials
Cadenza also offers a range of products made from a 100% polyester material, better known as fleece. It is a combed-knitted fabric made of synthetic fibres with a double-sided pile, renowned for its high-performance properties.

MICROFLEECE
With a weight of 190 GSM and 260 GSM, microfleece is used for Cadenza fleece vests and sweatshirts. The individual fibres in the knitted fabric form a delicately structured layer that helps direct air circulation and water vapour away from the skin to the surface of the knit; the knitted fabric is homogeneous with a large number of weave points that reduce wettability. Microfleece makes our products extremely soft, gentle, and very comfortable to wear.

POLAR FLEECE

By blending natural fibres with synthetic fibres, we have achieved improvements in the performance of the materials and thus the final products in many ways.

35% COTTON / 65% POLYESTER
We offer trousers, tops and dresses made from blended material, with a weight of 200 GSM and a twill weave creating a pattern of fine diagonal parallel lines. The surface is smooth and shiny. The creation of this blended material allows us to offer superior product care properties up to a temperature of 60°C, including low wettability, fast drying, and low wrinkling of the material.
Main properties of our 35% cotton / 65% polyester blend:
– higher material resistance
– minimal pilling
– maximum shrinkage of 1 cm in width and length
– high dimensional stability and strength
– high wrinkle-resistance
– washability at 60°C
96% COTTON / 4% LYCRA
A polyurethane fibre, used for reinforcement and elasticity, has been added to cotton to create a blended material of 96% cotton and 4% Lycra. This polycotton blend offers the comfort of cotton with the elasticity of Lycra, making it a highly versatile and comfortable fabric.
With a fabric weight of 195 GSM, this fine single jersey knitted fabric with Lycra is particularly suitable for T-shirts; a single jersey knitted fabric means that the face side stitches are visible only on the front and the back side stitches are visible only on the back. The maximum shrinkage at a temperature of 40°C is 4 cm in width and length, the fabric is highly resistant to pilling.
A rib-knitted fabric with Lycra, with a weight of 224 GSM is used for the production of T-shirts and tank tops. It is a material with elastic ribs in one width, which gives the material density and maximum flexibility.
49% COTTON / 21% POLYESTER / 30% VISCOSE
The viscose is blended with cotton and polyester to form a knitted fabric comprising 49% cotton, 21% polyester, and 30% viscose. The resulting composition provides a high level of strength with a weight of 400 GSM, making it an ideal choice for sweatshirts. The maximum shrinkage at a temperature of 40°C is 4 cm in length, the shrinkage in width is minimal at this temperature.
60% COTTON / 40% SORONA
The slim-fitting trousers are made of a stretch material with SORONA® blend with a weight of 214 GSM and with a twill weave, creating a subtle pattern with a set of fine diagonal parallel lines. SORONA eco-fibres are renowned for their elasticity and high wearing comfort. The benefits of SORONA® fibre include high elasticity, shape retention, excellent breathability, good moisture flow from the skin and quick drying, no pilling, chlorine and UV resistance, softness and gentleness to the touch, low wrinkling, and washability of up to 70°C.

Colours
At Cadenza, we utilise only the finest dyes for all our surgical workwear. Our colours are guaranteed not to bleed. You can wash white, blue, pink, and dark green garments together and they will come out perfectly. Our colours are highly durable, with excellent fastness to abrasion, sweat, sun and chlorine washing (within the standard permitted concentrations).

We do not manufacture our own clothing accessories, but we select them with great care, focusing on quality and aesthetic. This ensures that everything fits together perfectly.

Scrubs tops, shirts, gowns, and trousers with a concealed closure that are boil washable are fitted with high quality threaded or plastic buttons that can also be mangled.
Tops and shirts with a visible closure usually have plain, clear, or white plastic buttons.
Blended fabric tops and dresses are usually fastened with poppers or press studs for ease of dressing. Sweatshirts and vests are fitted with one-way or two-way plastic or metal zippers.
Trousers with a classic fly are mainly equipped with metal zippers or threaded or plastic buttons.
Other garment accessories include transparent brakes, plastic buckles, round rubber bands, canvas bags and more.
